M&S preps for launch of first loyalty card

The rumour mill suggests that M&S is readying its first card-based loyalty programme for an Autumn 2015 launch after the company filed two trademarks for ‘Sparks’ and ‘Sparks: More For You’ with the Intellectual Property Office under the loyalty card category.

This looks to be the latest move in a concerted effort by M&S to build closer links between its food and GM businesses and to offer more personalised marketing.
